I am a final-year Ph.D. candidate in the
Department of Information Technology
at Uppsala University. I am working on quantitative ultrasound imaging, particularly speed-of-sound imaging with conventional ultrasound transducers, under the supervision of Professor Orcun Goksel. I develop end-to-end medical imaging and machine learning pipelines, spanning data acquisition, pre-processing, image reconstruction, model training and performance evaluation, quantitative validation, and clinical applications.
I am motivated to apply my research expertise, programming skills, and problem-solving ability to challenging problems in a fast-paced, collaborative R&D environment.
I received my B.S and M.S degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU). During my master's studies, I worked with Associate Professor S. Figen Oktem on developing novel, fast, and efficient deep learning-based unrolled reconstruction methods for various computational imaging modalities, including spectral imaging.
In my free time, I enjoy playing football and exploring new places.
